    Currently, there are major parks and more than 40 neighborhood or “pocket” parks throughout the community. Major parks are most often located at the center of a village, and each park is designed with facilities to accommodate a specific focus, such as soccer, tennis, softball or swimming. Just as the community has set the standard for first-rate development, its generous parks reflect that same philosophy. They are well equipped, well maintained and serve as popular gathering spots for community residents of all ages.

    • The Hills Park – The first major park to open in Summerlin, The Hills Park is best known as one of the most popular special event venues in the Las Vegas Valley . Its amphitheater accommodates many outdoor concerts and theatrical productions during the summer months. The Hills Park also features a children’s play area, two lighted tennis courts, a sand volleyball court, a half basketball court and picnic ramadas.
    • The Pueblo Park – At 68-acres, The Pueblo Park meanders throughout The Pueblo village, providing miles of uninterrupted scenery for walkers, joggers and skaters. Considered one of the most beautiful desert areas in the  Las Vegas Valley , The Pueblo Park features a desert interpretive garden, several nature areas, and two active play areas.
    • The Trails Park – The Trails Park is one of the busiest parks in Summerlin with three lighted baseball fields that serve as the home of the Summerlin Little League. The park is also home to The Trails Community Center, a public swimming pool owned and operated by the City of Las Vegas , a children’s play areas, meadow area and picnic ramadas.
    • The Crossing Park – As the home of the Summerlin Youth Soccer League, The Crossing Park has two full-size lighted soccer fields that can accommodate up to a dozen little league games simultaneously. The park also features a children’s play area and picnic ramadas.
    • The Arbors Tennis and Play Park – With five outdoor lighted tennis courts and a pro shop, The Arbors Tennis and Play Park is home of Summerlin’s youth and adult tennis program. The park also features a unique custom-built tricycle track for toddlers set within “Arborville,” a charming pint-sized Summerlin village.
    • The Willows Park – A multi-sports facility, The Willows Park features a lighted little league field, a baseball field, two soccer fields, a basketball court and a children’s play area. The park is also home to the community’s resident -only swimming pool that features a beach-style entrance, two water slides and several fountains. Also located in the park is The Willows Community Center that hosts a variety of classes and programs for residents.
    • Oxford Park – This 10-acre park features a lighted, multi-use sports field that accommodates overflow for the Summerlin Little League and the Summerlin Youth Soccer League.
    • Cottonwood Canyon Park – This linear park is situated within a natural wash and runs the length of The Canyons Village. In addition to children’s play areas, the park is lined with trails. The park’s linear-design accommodates one of the most popular trail areas in Summerlin and is used by runners, strollers and roller-bladers, alike.
    • Spotted Leaf Park -Situated on 11.5 acres, this park features lighted tennis courts, two soccer fields, six basketball courts and a children’s play area.
    • The Gardens Park -This 20-acre park is divided into three distinct areas and serves as the centerpiece to The Gardens village. The west side of the park features an active play area with basketball, tennis and roller hockey. Anchored by the community center, the east side has facilities for passive adult uses including horseshoes and shuffleboard. A large open lawn area unites the two and can be used for a wide variety of activities and events.
    • The Arbors Sports Park -This 60-acre sports park is being jointly developed by the Clark County School District , the City of Las Vegas and The Howard Hughes Corporation. It incorporates the 42-acre campus of Palo Verde High School that is already home to a variety of sports facilities, including a football field, soccer field, baseball field, softball field, eight tennis courts and six outdoor basketball courts. The City of Las Vegas recently opened a 40,000 -square-foot leisure services center that includes a full-size gymnasium, exercise and meeting rooms. The Howard Hughes Corporation plans to design and construct a $7 million sports complex within the park that will be home to an Olympic-sized swimming pool, children’s play and picnic areas, a soccer field and two softball fields.
    • Ridgebrook Park – This 6 acre park nestled at the foothills of the Red Rock mountains, features tennis courts, basketball courts, a children’s play area, and picnic areas.
    • The Vistas Park – Includes a lighted football field, lighted softball fields, lighted tennis courts, basketball courts, a group picnic pavilion, a children’s play area, an interactive water play area and restrooms.
    • North & South Tower Parks – In The Vistas village, it includes children’s play areas, a spray basin, a picnic and barbecue area, open play areas and restrooms.
